Fuel tank Skidplate for Cherokees

Sorry, we like to play in our Jeeps, not wash them.

Take a look under the rear of your Jeep and what you find might scare you. Gallons of explosive gasoline, totally exposed to trail hazards, with only a super thin lining keeping you from possible disaster.

It's time someone took care of this problem and we're here to help!

These skids are made from 3/16" thick steel on the bottom and sides for truly beefy protection. The skidplates also come with a nice looking black powdercoat for lasting good looks.

Maybe most important for alot of folks is that they are bolton. No cutting or welding, just grab a wrench and start turning.

The gas tank skidplates are designed to work with hitches as you can see in the picture above. If you don't have a hitch you will need to provide the nut plates that fit inside the chassis. You can get them from your friendly Jeep dealer.

For those of you who have a 1997-2001 XJ our new ZJ gas tank skid will fit your Jeeps as well. We should have it available and ready to ship this Fall..... stay tuned.
