Comes with new Pinion and Carrier bearings, new races for the bearings, new pinion nut, seal, a Locktight pack, gear marking compound, and a complete shim-pack. One kit is needed per differential.

Gearing Package.

This kit contains any 2 ring and pinion gearsets as well as two master overhaul kits. If you are installing new gears into your Samurai, this is the kit to get as everything needed for gear installation is included.... and the install kits come with basic setup instructions complete with tooth pattern guide on how to shim for proper setup.

Sidekick/Tracker gear shim.

This is only needed for those looking to install Sidekick (front) gears into their front or rear Samurai differentials.

The Sidekick gear has a narrower profile than the Samurai gear which means you have to push the entire carrier further into the pinion for proper setup. Our laser cut shim is a drop in piece that allows for proper preload and backlash adjustment of the Sidekick gears
