You will save over 1 hour of installation time with the Rocky Road kit versus (Rough Country and) other WK2 kits, as our components do NOT require strut disassembly! If you are paying a shop to install your lift, this can easily save $1-200 in your total bill, and those kits also make it impossible to install at home without specialized strut machines.
To reiterate… if you buy those more cheaply made Durango kits with Chinese made parts, you WILL end up spending $1-200 more for the installation over a Rocky Road kit.. no to mention quality issues down the road.

ALL OTHER (non spring replacement) lift kits on the market are made in China, even from US Companies. Keep that in mind as you shop around. Rocky Road kits are all USA made, and we are PROUD OF THAT!!!

The bottom line is that many Dodge Durango owners do want to spice up their Dodge Durango a bit, but suspensions that change the way a vehicle drives and handles are NOT what most people are looking for. We want a sensible suspension that gets us onto some bigger tires for a MUCH better look and some extra clearance for the occasional weekend trail ride…. Something that separates you from the pack.

If this describes you, then Rocky Road has the answer. Our 2011 Grand Cherokee lifts are all bolton. No cutting, welding, drilling is required. And since our lift height is no taller than the airbag suspension at full height, no compromise in the factory warranty on the Dodge Durango either.

The kit retains the stock suspension springs, and the stock high performance shocks. After installation of a Rocky Road lift, you will still have the same safe and sane handling on your daily driver… just taller and better.

Best Quality Durango Lift Kit

Rocky Road kits use heavy duty spacer components that mount with your stock rear springs. We provide shock mount relocation kits… some of the cheaply made Chinese kits do not. This maintains full suspension travel. Keeps, the shocks from topping out and jerking the suspension. Also, the vehicle load leveling system (Nivomat), not altered or upset. Our system retains your factory springs and shocks so your ride quality and load capacity, not diminished.

Another important component in our suspension system is a full heavy duty steel strut spacer system for the front suspension. These lift components mount outside of the factory strut and so avoid stiffening the suspension or altering the handling. The exterior strut mount design doesn’t pre-load your spring, so you get full smooth factory ride quality. And the Heavy Duty factory front strut shocks, not modified. The suspension works exactly as it did before lift installation.

Only Lift Kit with Mopar Certification

Rocky Road Durango lifts were the only ones to ever receive certification from Mopar. The only kits to pass their engineering and safety testing. There is a reason why dealerships won’t install the cheaply made Chinese kits to your Durango.

We often receive questions on tire sizing with any of our Dodge Durango lifts…
The answer is…. there is no single answer. Wheel size and backspace can make as much or more of a difference as tire size. The design of the knuckle assembly makes it close quarters width-wise for oversize tire fitment. While our lift will create the vertical height you need, you will have to watch the width and backspacing carefully for tire clearance.

Wheel spacers can help with the fit of larger tires to this Dodge Durango. Be careful, the Dodge uses a 14mm lug nut so not all wheel spacers directly fit. (can be used with some changes). Rocky Road will have specific wheel spacers for this kit available this spring. Email us if you have any questions on this.

We tested a variety of tire sizes and found that a 33″ OD tire would fit with a little trimming in the felt fender liners (and 1″ wheel spacers mandatory). Your tire center may be able to help with recommendations since tire manufacturers use different sizing formulas so the fit will always vary from one brand to the next. We HIGHLY recommend having your lift installed BEFORE you go shopping for tires.

2011+ Dodge Durango lift kit

PLEASE NOTE: This kit fits the coil spring model Durangos ONLY. Will not work on a Quadra-lift equipped Dodge Durango, but we DO have kits for the air suspension Durango! Please send us an email inquiry.

We cap the suspension lift at 2.75″ so as to not exceed the factory tolerances, built into this model Dodge Durango as a result of the Airbag equipped suspensions. For those who purchased an airbag suspension for your Dodge Durango, unfortunately you will never be able to install a permanent lift system to your Dodge Durango. They can lift and lower by pushing the buttons, but will never be able to install larger tires since the suspension will always return to its original “stock height”

For you fortunate enough to have purchased the coil spring suspension though… Rocky Road’s lift kit is the most powerful modification you can make to your Dodge Durango. Factory spec alignment achievable with the installation of our suspension lift. This, thanks to Dodge’s foresight in the adjustment range of the front and rear alignment settings.

Also available are the Rocky Road front upper control arm kits. These suspension components are not essential for a proper installation of the lift kit, but certainly represent a substantial upgrade to the functionality and alignment to the stock pieces. Highly recommended for any Durango with a suspension lift kit.
