Lift spacers represent “show”, not go. While they do lift your vehicle, the stock springs are not made for the extra weight and leverage. You end up with a vehicle that is tippy and leans when on the highway.
Additionally, springs wear out, they sag, they become sloppy and unstable. Why purchase a lift to go on top of aging springs which will need to be updated before long (if not already) anyway??!

Old Man Emu lifts are listed below. Some folks might ask why OME suspensions are not available in taller lifts. OME’s philosophy is quality and sensibility without complications. OME sizes their lifts such that there are no problems or modifications required to steering, braking, or drivetrain. Any taller and these items do become an issue. For most people, the extra inch or so isn’t worth all the headache and cost necessary.

We’ve been asked about 07+ many times…
Alignment issues may present themselves. Some alignment shops are more willing to think outside the box and do a little ‘work’ on the vehicle than others… which would help in some instances for 07-12 Escape and Tribute.
Q) [To ARB, the manufacturer] Why is the OME suspension not listed for 2007-2012??
A) Electric Power Steering System [EPAS Electronic Power Assisted Steering]
What is EPAS? Ford describes EPAS with pull-drift as a “sophisticated sensor system that constantly measures the driver’s steering torque, adapts to changing road conditions and helps compensate for slight steering changes”. Consisting of a Power Steering Control (PSC) Motor, Electronic Control Unit (ECU), and a Torque Sensor and Steering Wheel Position Sensor.
PLEASE NOTE: If your suspension is outside of the application guide, there is no support from ARB, and may likely not covered by warranty. On the upside, OME suspensions are famous for their engineering and warranty issues of any sort, for any vehicle, are extremely rare.
What does all of this mean? It means the Old Man Emu suspension CAN be installed on your vehicle, and has been by others, but neither Rocky Road Outfitters, nor ARB/OME can give full authorization and approval of this kit for the 2007-2012 Ford Escape and Mazda Tribute.
