Rocky Road’s Tundra Rock Sliders are the best of the rocker protection world. We use 3/16″ inner hitch steel to make sure your bars do NOT bend! Anything other than hitch steel is just plain flimsy. Most other Tundra rock sliders are made from thin 1/8″ wall tube material. Alot of shops refer to these as Nerf bars. an appropriate name since they will offer about as much protection to your vehicle as a Nerf toy product would.
Strongest Rock Sliders for 3rd Gen Tundra
Our Tundra Rock Sliders have a very sleek rounded look about them. We use a rounded edge steel, 2×3″ for the main slider bar. It has a nice radius corner instead of a hard boxy look. Our shop press goes to 100 tons and we can’t even start to bend them. Do you think a scrawny little rock can hurt these things? Think again!
Why 3/16″ steel for construction? Why not go with a lesser gauge steel to save production costs?
Because we wouldn’t trust anything less to protect our 4WD’s and neither should you! We made them indestructible so they’ll last forever! Our Tundra rock sliders are very simple to install and are completely ‘bolt on’.
Our design distributes the load across a broad area instead of focusing it on small spots. We use existing mounting holes so this is a very simple bolton system.We tuck them very tight to the body to minimize the possibility of getting hung up. Rocky Road Supersliders and Kicker models… EXCELLENT side protection, and they work well for a step on the side of the truck!

These oversized truck slider kits must ship by semi-truck freight. As such, they must ship to a commercial location with a loading area suitable for semi-truck delivery (which the freight companies determine… not us). If a suitable commercial drop location is not available to you, then we will arrange for the kit to arrive at a freight terminal nearest your location for you to pick up from.
