These Cherokee gas tank skid plates are made from 3/16″ thick steel on the bottom and sides for truly beefy protection. The skidplates also come with a nice looking black powdercoat for lasting good looks.
Maybe most important for alot of folks is that they are bolton. No cutting or welding, just grab a wrench and start turning.
The gas tank skid plates are designed to work with hitches as you can see in the picture above. If you don’t have a hitch you will need to provide the nut plates that fit inside the chassis. You can get them from your friendly Jeep dealer.
For those of you who have a 1997-2001 XJ gas tank skid will fit your Jeeps as well. We should have it available and ready to ship.
