XJ Speaker Pods, a simple and economical way to improve your tunes. The XJ Speaker Pod adds some real depth to your current audio system. This, by mounting seamlessly in the passenger-side rear cargo-area panel of all ’84-’01 Jeep Cherokees. The XJ Speaker Pod, constructed of sturdy, textured plastic. Provides a neat, factory appearance without using up any cargo space!
The Cherokee Speaker Pod accepts one 8″ subwoofer and boasts a sealed-chamber design. It delivers tight mid and low-end audio response in .40 cubic feet of volume. A concealed wire-lead hole at the base of the pod allows for a tidy installation.
The Speaker Pod accepts most 8″ subwoofers and easily attaches to your vehicle’s factory side panel. Every XJ Speaker Pod comes with a durable 8″ metal-mesh speaker grille, installation hardware and instructions.
You can purchase the empty version of the XJ Speaker Pod and add your own 8″ subwoofer, or we offer it loaded with a Kicker 8″ subwoofer. Either version will give you the tight, strong bass your Cherokee desperately needs. The Kicker 8″ subwoofer also has a poly cone and ribbed surround, is rated at 200 watts RMS and gives you Kicker world class power and durability.
The XJ Speaker Pod fits all ’84-’01 Jeep Cherokees (not Grand Cherokees).
