Our LX450 rock sliders incorporate a catalytic converter skid plate and theft deterrent.
Most other rocker bars are made from thin 1/8″ wall tube material. Alot of shops refer to these as Nerf bars. an appropriate name since they will offer about as much protection to your vehicle as a Nerf toy product would.
A good number of the Lexus 450 Series Rock Sliders we sell are to those who have actually bought these thinner bars and have bent them up. Even slick looking dual round tube designs that appear to offer better protection are still only made from 1/8″ steel and will bend on a hard impact. Our shop press goes to 100 tons and we can’t even start to bend them. Do you think a scrawny little rock can hurt these things? Think again!

We made them indestructible so they’ll last. Our rock sliders are very simple to install and are completely ‘bolt on’. Our sliders wrap the frame for a super strong mounting system that anyone… ANYONE can install very easily!
The Toyota 80 Series Superslider ‘rock sliders’ also feature our Superslider and Kicker Slider design which is the second outer slider tube for extra protection from the side AND a great step for accessing roof racks and such. This tubing is made from 100% DOM and is strong beyond belief.
Our 80 Series Rock Sliders have a very sleek rounded look about them as we use genuine inner hitch steel in their construction. Hitch steel is not only very strong, it also has a nice radius corner instead of a hard boxy look. Inner hitch steel is the stuff you use to plug into 2″ receiver hitches. We’ve seen the competitor’s sliders at $7-800 with squared ends on the rock sliders. Alot cheaper to make them this way, but ugly and they don’t slide too well. You just bought $800 battering rams if they hit a rock on the forward edge. The engineering in our kits provides a beveled lead and trailing edge not only for great looks, but also for better trail service.

Lexus LX450 Series Rock Slider Steps
These rocker bars offer all the strength and warranty of our regular 80 Series rock sliders, but with the added bonus of an additional upper tube. This upper tube can provide even more protection against sliding into rocks, trees, or other trail hazards.
- Super Sliders – Features our standard rock slider with additional side protection and small step
- Flat Out Super Sliders – Standard rock slider with a 4″ wide step
- Kicker Sliders – Similar to the Flat Out option except there is an additional “Kicker” at the back end of the slider. The kicker has a diamond plate step
- Kicker Sliders w/Full Cover Panel – Our Kicker slider with diamond plate across the entire surface. Great for small feet and paws
They also make an excellent step for access to roof racks and such.
The extra slider tube up top offers additional side protection on the trail and off the trail. One of our favorite uses of the 80 Series rock sliders is as a bash guard against other swinging doors in a parking. Imagine the dismay of the chump who just threw open his car door only to whack it on the solid steel of your 80 Series rock sliders. He just stuck a nice dent in the edge of his door, your Toy still looks cherry!

These oversized slider kits must ship by semi-truck freight. As such, they must ship to a commercial location with a loading area suitable for semi-truck delivery (which the freight companies determine… not us). If a suitable commercial drop location is not available to you, then we will arrange for the kit to arrive at a freight terminal nearest your location for you to pick up from.
